GT Battle

D1 Corp @ GT Battle

Three of the world's top drifters will be in attendance at GT Battle.

Ken Nomuken Nomura will be drifting his BLITZ R34 Skyline GTT and Yasuyuki Kazama in his Kei Office S15. This is the first time current D1 Grand Prix drivers have performed in the UK with their current D1 grand Prix cars.

Further to this Kuniaki Takahashi will be drifting Sumo Power's yet to be seen pink Nissan 350Z.

Ken Nomura
BLITZ R34 Skyline GTT

BlitzWithout any doubt Nomu-Ken, who has got a excellent character of humor, is the most popular drifter in the field. On the track he also is spotlighted especially when he gets into drifting with massive smoke and drift angle in his BLITZ SKYLINE which is said having a disadvantage to the others because of its heavy weight and long wheelbase. There are a lots of Nomu-Ken funs even in the other professional drifters.

The acrobat drifter "Wakuwaku-san"

Handy Yasuyuki has a wide range of drift techniques include the famous rodeo-ride style drifting. Actually he had already been recognized as one of the top drifters even before D1GP started, but he had got even more
reputation than before since he broke his duck in 2004 championship. You have got to keep your eyes on him not only on the track where he drifts his car but also his warm-up lap where he always "wakuwaku"-entertains- crowds.

Kuniaki Takahashi

[Kunny'z]

Kuniaki definitely has the most comfortable work space for a drifter, because he's got air-conditioning and a luxurious audio system in his TOYOTA CHASER and even got an electronic toll collection system -which is a kind of posh machinery to have in Japan. Kuniaki's 4 door sedan drifting is super cool and powerful. At GT Battle he'll be driving Sumo Power's new stripped and caged Nissan 350Z.
